We are in love with Amrita – independent choreographer, dancer & performance artist.
Think you’ve seen her before? You probably have as her dancers body was projected onto the Sydney Opera House in Vivid 2013.
Amrita was introduced to the art of dance through contact improvisation then expanded her technique through classical training.
She was a member of the NSW Dance Ensemble from the age of 12 and toured nationally before discovering her love for cultural dances from around the world.
She was also a dance member and performer of the 2014 Indigenous Dance Residency at the Banff Centre, Canada.
Lucky for us – Amrita is coming to teach us a very special workshop this THURSDAY 18th June.
After Tennant’s sell-out ‘Single Ladies’ sessions at Sydney’s Goodgod Small Club…she is bringing sexy back to the Hills with a one-off Beyonce workshop.
